wordlessly , ryland leads driver to his couch , sitting down on one side & gesturing to the spot in front of him. his palms feel slightly sweaty ; he's never been good with this type of thing in his relationships. not that he & driver are in a relationship ( even if that's what it feels like sometimes ). though , maybe that's what driver wanted to talk about. that made ryland's stomach turn slightly ; he's notoriously bad at relationships. this is usually the part where they break up , but again : they're only kind of in a relationship.

he tilts his head curiously , eyes never leaving driver's face. he wants to reach out somehow ; it's almost become second nature to be close to him now. but ryland waits , one hand curling & uncurling against the sofa as he waits. obviously , there's something he's thinking about , or something he wants to say. ryland can be patient , he'll let driver come to him.
