It's my firm opinion that any ideology or philosophy that imagines people will tend to be even mostly 'good' or 'bad' is not useful in actually helping human society progress to something better for all involved. This includes people who believe once we reach a certain point (communism) all inequality will be erased and no more work will ever have to be done to perfect the human condition. There will always be work to be done, we will stumble and backtrack on the path upward. Humans have conflicting urges as all animals do, so there will never be a point at which utopia is reached. But just because a utopia is impossible is no excuse to not try to get as close as we can to one. This is not an anticommunist post btw, I am not saying communism doesn't work, it's that communism is not the finish line
