I fell in love with this ship deeply after looking thru it in a yuri leanse idk why yuri helped me see this shit but YEAH. Ummm this is a fixation that I QUICKLY LATCHED ONTO and like my other fixations they usually die down in a week or so 🥹 so this blog might become inactive at like…. Any time brah. Okay I have written zero words of this story but I keep taking it out of the mind vault and poking it and hopefully someday I will turn it into something. 

A girl moves into a sketchy apartment building because the rent is extremely cheap. Everyone who lives there is weirdly unfriendly--they won’t meet her eyes, and they sort of creep around like they’re hiding from something. She has never seen her neighbors, but she can hear them dragging furniture around in the middle of the night. 

Then, she gets put on the night shift. She gets home one night around 4am and there’s a boy standing in front of her door. She thinks he’s waiting for her, and then she realizes he’s actually trying to get into her neighbors apartment. 

Only, he doesn’t look quite right. He’s all washed out and maybe a little translucent? It’s hard to tell in the fluorescents, and it’s rude to stare anyway. 

Then, he says “hello,” in the thinnest, softest voice. So soft she thinks she’s imagined it. 

Before she can reply, the apartment door opens and he hurries inside. She tries to see inside, but it’s absolutely pitch black. 

So what is the cult doing? Who is the boy? How much magic are they doing? What are they doing to him??? I don’t think this a romance. I think it’s a tragedy, but I don’t want to make the cult impossible to escape from. I think it’s a chance for me to dig into my fascination with true crime and come up with something nefarious. I don’t think it’s Satanism, because the Satanic panic is stupid. 

This just... Sounds super awesome, idea came to me after I finished watching the Amelia Earhart episode~

Starburst, jrpg-fantasy, follows young, anxious and self-loathing Meria, who, against everyone’s expectations, gets chosen by the Legendary Sword as its next wielder

In Ash and Snow, post-apocalyptic norse fantasy, wherein Ragnarok goes very, very wrong, plunging the world into an endless winter- and Asta, a young women, is the one chosen to fix all of this

The Keeper of the Egg, a dragon story, centered around the protector of the egg that’s destined to hatch into the dragon that’ll end the evil ruler of the land

Raven’s Choice, urban fantasy story, centered around Thomas (tentative name) as he moves back to his childhood home, and the destiny he had been chosen for as a child- to keep the Raven company, before he is to give himself up to the Mountain

inspired by mlp:fim, centered around the ward of the Queen, a young girl who’s training to be a mage- except then the castle gets attacked, and she ends up trying to end the fight along with her bodyguard

futuristic fantasy, centered around a guard-in-training, who trips over a human experiment, and ends up on the run
