You know, Iβve managed to avoid getting into wargames because of the model expense for years. But I am tempted by Trench Crusade because itβs new, it doesnβt feel ridiculously bloated with itself like Warhammer often does.
But I am tempted. I think Iβll wait until their Crusader Knight orders/rules are available, and maybe their paladins if they ever get models, which I think will take longer since theyβre too powerful to make sense for the skirmish format of the game.
At the very least, I think Iβll write up my own little order of crusaders. Specifically, I think theyβll be based on the real world but long extinct Order of Faith and Peace. That order only existed for fifty years as a group of peacekeepers. In the world of Trench Crusade, they could still exist, and with a name like that in this kind of war torn setting, have the contrary sort of ideology that makes them the kind of protagonists I like the most in a grimdark setting: stubbornly iconoclastic in the face of both absolute evil and oppressive forces youβre ostensibly aligned with.

Ik taco was designed and intended to be the manipulative twist villain but I'd like an AU where Taco was actually Designed to be just goofy dumb and random but she Broke her code midway through s1 and went against the word of the creator and her god thus making her equivalent to a fallen angel for not conforming to the way she's been designed so she is outcast from heaven and the garden of eve (hotel oj) while still ruining god's plan and going against the word of god (trying to steal the money in s1 fin, wanting to manipulate and get money in s2, wanting to end the game in s2e15, not being what she was designed to be)
