Stumbled upon this lone ice sculpture on the sidewalk outside of MOCAD. 🧊

I’m having the best time in Slovakia carving a giant ice church designed by Adam Bakoš, working with so many tremendous artists! I’m blown away by this project. It froze really well. I brought it down to the beach to take pictures, as that’s where the inspiration came from. The ‘secrets’ didn’t show up very well, as it wasn’t placed facing straight down in the water- however, I kind of like how there’s a mystery to the word. Very apt. I’d like to work more on this, perhaps connecting some string to the wire, so I could hang the words. I’d like to catch the morning sun come up and capture a video of the ice melting and dripping down.
