Recently, I've decided it's time I head back to school for my third qualification. After completing my registration, I wanted to treat myself to something nice, so I ordered an Iced Matcha Milktart Latte from my local coffee. shop.

I was curious to try this particular fusion drink, as it's inspired by the common flavours of a popular South African pudding (milktart), and the good old Japanese ceremonial-grade tea.

Like the little message says on the cup, "Be Lekker!", which translates to "Be Awesome!"

matcha:

• 3g of matcha powder

• 40ml of water (i use room temp but it’s reccomended to use hot water)

• 15ml of agave syrup

afterwards, put a big amount of ice and pour 120ml of your desired milk type in your cup

cold foam (serving of 2-3 lattes)

• 50ml of whipping cream

• half a tablespoon of maple syrup

• half a teaspoon of vanilla bean paste

• salt (i never measured so use as much as ur heart desires)

froth until it’s as thick as u want it to be
