Story:

A particularly rude and friendless kit and apprentice, Ashpaw was very devoted to the warrior code. He found a desire for violence that remained for all his life, and when he became a warrior, he killed a loner and told nobody about it.

On a wander through the territory, daydreaming about becoming the leader of Iceclan, Ashpool scented something strange. He investigated, finding Lionpaw behind a small clearing, mingling with a random she-cat who, according to her smell, Ashpool figured was of Mudclan.

Moving too quickly and strongly for the two lovebirds to get out of their moonstruck haze and react, Ashpool tore at both their throats and bit the she-cat in the head. So quickly it was over, and he stood panting in the clearing, blood drenching his fur and the grass around him. It was there where Leafstar found him, and exiled him from the Clan.

For a long time, he lived as a rogue, spending his time leaving dirt and other similar messages where he knew his former Clanmates would find them. He clawed at a few adventurous kits that had strayed too far, and fought with the occasional overconfident apprentices.

As much as he hated his clan, he wanted more than ever to lead it. At a time he knew most warriors would be on patrol, he attacked, finding Leafstar unguarded in the camp. He rapidly clawed at her until she stopped moving, the other warriors, or elders, mostly, were too shocked and afraid of injury to interfere.

Gleefully, Ashpool began to tell the cats in the camp how he should become their leader, when the deputy, Whitestripe, sung claws at the back of his head, shoving him off of Tallrock, where he sustained massive head trauma. He was still breathing, heavily, when he hit the ground, but two warriors put a stop to that.

His corpse was dragged into the freezing river, but his body wouldn’t feel it anyways. He would only feel the damp, dizzying wretchedness of the Place of No Stars.
