Hope didn’t have to bite Ambrosia to keep her under control. Compulsion, hypnotism, or a simple control spell would work just fine. In fact, Hope planned to put up more boundary spells as soon as she had the opportunity. And really, biting her only caused more trouble. Hope’s venom made her blood impure and impossible to do spellwork with. There was no testing to be done, no progress to be made, until it had left Ambrosia’s system. It was a pain. But it did make Ambrosia so deliciously easy to manipulate. She’d never gotten to see how Klaus’ venom impacted non-vampires, but she had witnessed normal werewolves do it and see nothing but pain and near death. Perhaps her venom was just special; par for the course for the tribrid. “F-Forgive me,” Ambrosia whimpered. She flinched as Hope’s hand pet her hair. “Why should I?” she murmured. “Are you going to show me how sorry you are? Hm?” “Y-Yes. Please….” She was shaking, barely holding herself up on her hands and knees. Hope’s bite was still red and angry on her neck, even as it slowly healed. Hope gathered her hair in one hand and pulled her closer. “You know, one of these days, I’m going to get tired of giving you chances. If you pull a stunt like that again, I might just have to take more drastic measures.” She would look lovely with a collar. “I-” Hope shushed her and slotted a thumb in her mouth. Ambrosia closed her lips and sucked gently, doe eyes brimming with unshed tears. It was a good start, but she had a long way to go.
