First thing I’m asked by most folks is, “which was your favorite stop?” And that’s a damn hard question to answer but I think I have to say it’s the Grand Canyon. . Yes, this was my third time seeing it, but that stunning view never ceases to somehow thrill and calm at the same time. It’s beautiful any time of day, and is accessible to any kind of person, regardless of their physical abilities. . This time we also had the best campsite the North Rim has to offer and were able to roll out of bed, walk across our site and down a slope to the edge of the canyon itself. It felt like our own little secret, without other folks around. . So yeah, I have to pick the Grand Canyon, despite all of the other wonders we witnessed.
