Holiday Traffic 😳
I knew this was going to be bad, but I had to drive over here to see this. 😐
This is the southbound traffic on I-75, an interstate highway running from Canada to Florida. The reason for the backup is because of the closure of the southbound lanes over the Zilwaukee Bridge over the Saginaw River. The traffic was diverted to southbound I-675, which is what you see here.
The Z bridge is three lanes, so three is crammed down to two. The south side of the bridge has been closed for repairs recently. It was worth the drive to see this. This shot was taken at 2:35pm.
