Other forms of Social Media wear on me as I use them, it can feel trivial posting something in the vast sea of the internet and watching it drift away in a little bottle. But I’m going to do just that, and continue doing it. I’ve been at odds with the networking side of art for a very long time, however, due to some personal events within my family, I’m no longer at liberty of sticking my nose up at anything that can get me ahead simply because I don’t like it. So here I am, writing this post, just under a year from my last post.

There won’t be anything up for a while. I’m going to ease into it again. I plan to begin posting finished works, WiP and other things here on Tumblr. This will be my more personal outlet as far as social media goes. I’ll post pictures, I’ll share things I like, but what I mean more, is that I’ll touch on motivations, the cerebral process, the whys and whats to the art. I’ll also talk about life here and there, mention shows, events, etc. etc. but the important factor is that this Tumblr will likely be more focused on writing, the metaphysical of it all, the meanings, the symbolism, the language. It’ll also be the main outlet for any poetry or short stories I decide to post, and I’ll talk about myself the most on here, as compared to say, Facebook or Instagram. (I’ll create links for you guys when all of that is good and dandy) Anyhow, last year I spent 2 weeks on a farm in May and then in June, and then had all sorts of chaos through the next year. I completed Art366 in the sense that I created a piece everyday, but I failed horrendously in presenting it and posting it. This year, I chose not to do another Art 365, and instead decided to focus on refining and exploring a bit.
