I want this painting. I *covet* this painting. The problem is, this is no longer on the market. And when it was, this sucker was $6,800.
This is called Tahitian Moon by David Miller. I saw it in person in one of those expensive art galleries almost 20 years ago. I had forgotten the artist, the title, and didn't take a picture. But it burnt itself into my brain all this time, and I always wanted this painting. Fortunately for me, David Miller is still one of the darlings of that gallery, and I went back and was able to rediscover Tahitian Moon on his website. ...Just yesterday, actually.
So now, my amateur ass is gonna do what I can to get my hands on this painting.

I usually don't pay attention to numbers too much, but I still wanted to thank my first 100 followers! I always feel a little intimidated to post on new platforms (or, well, not that new since I already had a blog here before that was lost during the past purge), so it's very encouraging to see so many people here enjoy what I do!

OMG, I am so excited! I just learned that I can make GIFs from videos using a combination of two programs I already own. And it’s wicked easy! Before today I only thought it was possible for me to make really choppy looking GIFs from still images. I don’t know how to add text or do anything fancy, but I am still super excited.
