pairing: vampire!jaafar jackson x reader
contents: average vampire type shi, slight harassment, jaafar gets protective when some jerks tries to hurt their fianceé (reader), inspired off by that one scene in interview with the vampire where claudia beats the shi out of men who tried to hurt madeleine, I got hella lazy in the end but frick it we ball atp.
imagine... vampire!jaafar pretending to be human and trying to live as one without you knowing his true origins. he managed to learn quickly on behaving more "human" and blending in the human society while hiding his true origins.
you, his beloved fianceé, is also oblivious to his origins. he doesn't tell you about it, too afraid on how you would react if you found out that your fiance is a vampire and he cares about you deeply.
but one night, you were trying to mind your business when a a group of two guys began catcalling you and even getting too close to your personal comfort. you got frustrated and uncomfortable as you told them to fuck off but that pissed them off as they attempted to try teach you a lesson.
“this sweet piece of shit is all bark ain't they?” said one of them as they chuckled mockingly.
“sure, let's see how long this thing is all bark and no bite—” one of them exclaimed but then suddenly–
one of the guys was suddenly thrown against a hard wall with a loud crack before another who was over on you was suddenly pulled from behind before a shadow behind them opened their mouth, showing pure, white fangs as they went full on chomping on the guy's throat like a revenge feast—
meanwhile you, just froze there as you just stared in pure horror— ‘what. the. FUCK.’ is what you thought to yourself, your body still freezed up in flight or fight mode on crashing in.
the person eventually finished as they dropped the already lifeless guy off on the ground, wiping the blood from their mouth as your breath hitched when you looked closely and realized;
wait a second.. is that.. jaafar?! and did he really did all that?!
you were too stunned to speak as you instinctively backed up away, staring up at him in horror mixed with pure fear as you gulped.
jaafar, meanwhile, he saw the fear in your eyes as his expression softened immediately– he knew the exact reason why you were scared. it's because of him, because of the fact you had just realized that he, your own fiance, had been a vampire all this time.
“shh... baby, don't be scared.. did those guys hurt you bad..?” jaafar mumbled gently, his bloody stained fingers brushing against your cheek as you instinctively flinched out of slight yelp from the bloody sight and feeling.
“c'mon now.. ill take you home..” said jaafar as he firmly pulled you, still gentle but firm enough to not take a no.
“i love you y'know that..? ill never let anyone try to harm my precious.”
oh well, you were stuck with him - a freaking vampire but atleast you were grateful for him protecting you from those jerks atleast.
