Noriko hails from the tiny village of Hayakawa, Yamanashi Prefecture! She spends most of her time out of town, and would much rather live somewhere bigger like Tokyo, Kyoto, or Yokohama.

Noriko’s usual personal pronoun is “atashi”!

Noriko has one elder half-sister several years her senior! Her name is Shiho. They don’t like each other very much. (This is the most massive understatement I could possibly make.)

Neither Noriko or her parents are religious (on snarkier days Noriko would deem them all as being a godless bunch, in more ways than one), or even much the types to adhere to cultural traditions or customs, but much of her extended family on both sides are very devout. (Different religions, though-- her mother’s family is Buddhist, her father’s are Jewish.)

Noriko has very good teeth, which is something she inherited from her father.

Noriko’s favourite colour is...pink! Surprise!

Speaking of pink, Noriko’s striking pink hair is dyed! Her hair is naturally a mousy brown.

Also, Noriko’s eyes aren’t purple; she wears coloured contacts when out and about. Her eyes are actually grey.

Noriko is shortsighted, but doesn’t wear glasses.

Noriko largely favours spicy food-- she likes the feeling of the heat on her tongue. Still, she’s definitely not averse to the likes of sugary bonbons or licorice now and then.

Her favourite beverage is Coke! She’s also fond of pink lemonade.

Noriko’s favourite fruit is cherries! She also pretty much unilaterally enjoys anything cherry-flavoured, and she also likes clothes with cherry decals, too.

Noriko uses pet names constantly, and she uses them on everybody. “Darling”, “baby/babe”, “sweetheart”, and “doll” are her standards, but she has several more in her arsenal, with a lot of them seeing use only in specific unique contexts, too. (E.G., “honey” is usually reserved for people she’s close to.)

Noriko likes to flirt! (She likes to keep things interesting for ya, sweetheart.) She’s being playful/teasing above all else when she does, though-- she’s not inclined to be particularly serious about things, she’s just here to have fun. (She’s also the kind of person for whom “sexy” is a neutral term of endearment, so really, it’s hard to tell when she is versus when she isn’t.)

Noriko has five exes, most of whom she dated only very briefly and in the same year. The first two are [AIRHORN NOISES], but she’ll talk about the last three to just about anybody.

Noriko is right-handed!

Noriko is quite fidgety, and finds it easiest to concentrate when her hands are somehow occupied. She tends to do so by writing on paper very fast, smashing down the keys randomly on a keyboard, tearing off bits of paper and scrunching it up, wrapping strands of hair around her fingers, and generally wringing/messing around with her hands and fingers.

Noriko is the Worst in that, in school, she’s the kind of person who consistently manages to get straight A grades with seemingly very little effort. Her secret? She has a very sharp short-term memory, so she’s able to cram like hell just before the test and still have a vivid imprint in her mind of what she’s just read. (Also, she purposely does as well as possible in order to spite anyone who assumes she’s stupid.)

As well as being part of the school magazine/newspaper club, Noriko was also in a debate club back in junior high!

Noriko is surprisingly nocturnal in her habits-- she has so much on her plate that she’s gotten into the habit of staying up late and doing the bulk of her work in the dead of night.

Noriko has a ton of different pyjamas and nightgowns, but most of the time she just ends up sleeping in her underwear.

In terms of alignment, Noriko is Chaotic Neutral! (With a dash of Neutral Evil here and there, but mostly CN.)

Noriko’s MBTI is ENTJ, and her Enneagram type is Type Eight.

Noriko’s favourite season is the summer! She loves the sunshine and the free time, and she likes how she gets to wear far more cute dresses and summery wear than she does at colder times of year.

The kind of music Noriko likes and that I associate with her is very specifically mainstream pop music from around 2008-2012, when the dance/club music was really big. Stuff from that era like early Lady Gaga, Kesha, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls, etc. is what’d especially be her taste. (The girl group/boyband pop boom of the late 90s/early 00s I’d also associate with her to a slightly lesser extent!)

Noriko has a secret passionate love for board games, and all things similar to them-- all kinds. Chess and shogi are her particular favourites, but she’ll play anything from Monopoly to backgammon to Snakes & Ladders. She has a hard time explaining her attachment to them to others, but she’ll be very happy if you play one with her.

Noriko loves makeup, and she’ll often go out, buy a bunch of fresh new products, and experiment with her look. She actually has one lipstick she considers her “Lucky Lipstick”, which she’ll wear out if she’s going in for an exam or an interview or if she’s out to impress someone.

As you’d expect for someone with her occupation, Noriko follows a lot of models and media personalities, and she’s actually struck up genuine online friendships with many of them! She’ll miss DMing them while she’s stuck in Murder Hell.

Noriko really enjoys photography! She owns a small Polaroid camera and she gets a lot of use out of it.

Noriko loves her pink hair, but she plans to dye it blonde one day in the future a while or so down the road.

Noriko has the first article of hers that was ever printed hanging on the wall in her bedroom. There’s little she’s more proud of or more protective of than her gossip career.

Noriko has a distinctive birthmark on her inner left thigh!

Noriko last went to a funeral when she was around three or four years old, and she doesn’t really remember it at all, so she doesn’t really have a proper reference for what death or dead bodies or grief is like at all.
