These two first episodes are really solid. I didn't like the first season all that much, it's why I started watching Helluva to begin with. But these two episodes kinda blew me away. I'm so hyped!
Don't worry though, Helluva is still my baby, I will always hold it closer to my heart. I care about the characters more and I don't need a big story for them. I just want to see and hang out with them. s3 is however said to be Viv's fav so I'm looking forward to it. Maybe it will solidify a little more too, who knows. I, however, never minded it's pacing before. I felt like it matched Blitz in energy.
That said, this is more of what I imagined Hazbin to become back when the pilot first arrived. I loved the pilot, I loved the easy dark humour and potential in story and world-building. And Hazbin is very story-driven more so than character-driven so it feels like it'll be that one big journey, yknow? The more epic kind of story while Helluva is more down to earth (or hell). I don't mind that at all. They're giving me different things, I love that
