Isaac's mind was not empty, it felt like an enormous range of darkness, no ceilings or floors or walls, but it still had one small light, and he focused on it, focused on the last remaining memory. And headed for it.
That was how he ended up soaked to the bone, teeth chattering and body shaking at Stiles' front door. He could barely feel his hands, so when he knocked it put a dent in the wood, his strength would have confused him if he'd been less focused but he knocked again.
