Love is truly an illusion at this point, for Hyesung at least. His husband and son going behind his back to take care of the woman who abandoned him all because what? "She looks like you" "She gave birth to you" Why did Fargo have to use and completely disregard Hyesung's trauma just to push Byul and Siwoo's relationship forward?? Like WTH???? Yes, she's his parent but she left him with an abusive father who then left him in the care of his grandmother who did not really care about him. He dropped out of school, did side jobs just to survive. And then he finds out that his Mom actually came back, not to see him, but to get a divorce so she could marry someone else and she didn't want her new husband to know that she had a son. She only came looking for him after learning that Hyesung married rich and then she gaslighted Hyesung and blamed him for not looking for her?! The only reason she's with them right now is because her new family left her, that's karma. And Dojin, oh Dojin! Fargo really loved this man so much he got away with hurting Hyesung like that! He knew what his husband went through with his parents and still went and helped the woman who traumatized Hyesung. Family helps family, family protects family except if it's Hyesung, I guess. And then Byul was like "I hope Mom comes to see Grandma" How about No?!
I know it's Fargo's story and they can do whatever they want with it, but is this even really necessary? It would have been better if they just focused on Byul and Siwoo without a mention of Hyesung's mom. What's next? Forcing Hyesung to heal because its been years and he's now in a happy family? A forced reconciliation with the Mom? I just hope that Fargo would listen to their readers. They may have restricted the replies on their posts, but they for sure could see the qrts. Please author-nim, don't disregard Hyesung's suffering like this again.
