     it’s getting kind of pathetic how often they come to the same space-diner. billy’s on his...what, fourth egg breakfast of the week? loki insisted on bacon for the BILLIONTH time, and billy was the only one not arguing for a change of pace. he’s had enough of that to last him several lifetimes. he slides the cash he’s running out of across the bar-top and quietly thanks the joe ( is that actually joe? ) of joe’s diner for his second glass of cola. wanda had told him once that herbal teas would work off the nerves. he hasn’t tried it yet. he barely registers when their team hawkeye shows up in the bar-stool next to him.
