My favorite piece from the collection of Spark Master Tape promotional items. It accurately captures much of the essence the mysterious Spark Master Tape features, and even gives a nod to fans of his albums that choose to ‘mask up’ similar to how Oakland Raiders fans will head down to the  Coliseum on game-day and get rowdy.

Here are two 8bit inspired pieces as part of the collection of Spark Master Tape promotional items from earlier in 2016. The albums Syrup Splash (left) and The SWOUP Serengeti (right) forever immortalized in a video game style.

In coming up with some promotional items for rapper Spark Master Tape earlier in 2016, I wanted to create something that would appeal to those fans that drank a little too much of the ‘swoup’ and were eagerly awaiting his third album’s release. In doing so, I thought conceptual art for two vinyl releases of his first two albums Syrup Splash and The SWOUP Serengeti would be a nice and well-received touch. 

Another piece of my contribution to promotional items for rapper Spark Master Tape’s third album ‘Silhouette Of A Sunkken City’. My first actual attempt at colorizing something from black and white. I’m sure someone could easily debate the accuracy of the color scheme I chose, but this is more of a test than anything else.

Inspired by the famous 100 emoji and part of the package of Spark Master Tape promotional items I created, the mysterious “Ahunnet” requested a series of custom logo for use on various social media.

Growing up in the heart of Red Sox Nation (among a family of Sox fans) as a Yankees fan hasn't always been easy. This design came about after a bar-room discussion after I stated it to a group of Sox Nation’s finest fans. Probably the most civilized way I could think to get a shot in for one of baseball's biggest “rivalries.” 

I had seen Lucio Fulci’s 1979 film Zombie done in a similar style, which inspired me to take my all-time favorite film, John Carpenter’s 1978 groundbreaking horror film Halloween, and give it the look of an old 8bit video game main menu screen. I can’t fully imagine what a Dr. Loomis Mini-Game would look like but I’ll be he shoots him six times. I fully intend to go back sometime in the future and do this as a true 8bit GIF.

After finally combining two fantasy baseball leagues into one back in 2012 to create MoneyBall, the time came where we wanted to design a logo for the league’s homepage, and also for some merchandise for us to proudly proclaim our baseball allegiance to one entity. I’m especially proud of this piece, because the subtle touches are really a treat, including the twelve stars to represent each participant in the league.
