How do you think Ryo Kurokiba would enjoy Thanksgiving? ( I'm sure you can guess who is asking this)
Oh yeah I’m sure that Ryo would totally enjoy Thanksgiving. I think he’d enjoy it either in his regular chill mode or his competitive mode. With everyone around him, I’m pretty sure he’d make sure he fasted and got really hungry (more than his usual amount) and have a very loud and growling stomach. (which frankly Alice might make him anyway).
There are two ways for him to enjoy Thanksgiving. If it was his chill mode, I still think he’d try to sample everything at the table, probably with fairly generous portions. Even after he’s full, I could definitely see Soma or Alice all heaping his plate with more servings. “Come on Ryo! It’s Thanksgiving! You have to eat more!” and he’d just silently dig in. This version he might unbutton his own pants or they would pop open on accident. Then he’d just quietly burp and try to cover his mouth but basically go along with it until he wasn’t given more servings (though he’d slow down a ton).
The other way is if his competitive mode is going and then it’s a completely different story. He’d still make sure he was hungry and point it out, maybe even drawing attention to his growling stomach or even grabbing someone’s head to have them listen to his stomach churn. But then once he starts eating, it’s a free for all. That’s where not only is he making sure that he sampled everything available, but he’s going all out. Ryo would heap mounds of food on his plate, stuff it in his mouth with full on chipmunk cheeks and more. (Possibly drinking directly from the gravy boat. Ryo would also be the type to sling insults at whoever is at the rest of the table for not eating enough or as much as him. Also easily being one to full on steal from other people’s plates to be able to have more than all of them.
In the end, greedy Ryo would proudly and rudely belch loud and pat his belly hard and show it off to others. He might unbutton his pants for room or let them pop off on their own. However, either version of Ryo there’s a very good chance that after a bit, indigestion sets in and Ryo has to rub and cradle his bloated belly with it sitting in his opened pants fly, burping, and trying to keep people away from poking his gut.
