D31. Do they try to suck all the milk out of the carton, or leave some left over?

Maxwell -yes! When I enjoy a food/drink, for some reason I try to get every morsel of it that I can. I want to enjoy all of it! I have broken into containers just to get the last of food, and done that to milk cartons several times.

Leo -nah, they wouldn't notice it and wouldn't care about getting all of it.

Yugamu, Gaku, Ima, Takumi, Shouma, Darumi, and Tsubasa would be in Last Defense Academy, and...

It made me wonder "wait, what do they have in common?" and I couldn't think of anything myself so I looked to the Gift-o-matic for some ideas and compiled a list on every item that they had the same or generally the same opinion about (either both liking or both disliking).

Some items that they both like: hand cream, fast food, analytical machine, old-fashioned scooter, microtransmitter

What I learned/realized: Kako, with her love of cooking and being a detective, would have interests crossing with Tsubasa for tools and spy gear for her work. Kako could turn to Tsubasa for help in that department, and likewise Tsubasa...well, she probably isn't excited to try Kako's experimental foods, but she might do so out of convenience or mutual respect if Kako was just complimenting her on her inventions/mechanic work.

Wait, old-fashioned scooter?! Okay, now that's a cool item and I wasn't expecting Kako to love it, they would definitely both talk about that one!!

Gendered stuff (I lumped these together bc the theming felt the same)

They both like: Wedding dress and women's swimsuit

and they both dislike (as gifts meant for them, context is important): tuxedo, men's swimsuit, leapard print undies, girl's underwear

What I realized/learned: Eh, these were more predictable. I think it'd be more interesting if they threw in more characters liking clothes for the opposite gender (I love how Haruki shows up as liking women's swimsuits/underwear).

On the other hand, the characters disliking clothes for the opposite gender could be looked at from the perspectives that

They're getting these from Takumi, and Takumi is watching their reaction, so even if they secretly yearned for this item they cannot express that out in the open

Dysphoria can make someone dislike something both performatively and genuinely from feeling like it's "not allowed/out of reach."

Idk, just wanted to add something about opening these lists to interpretation so people feel less limited to looking at them only at face value.

More things Kako and Tsubasa dislike together! :D

Polishing powder, snake plushies, and silverware???

Things I have realized/learned: Kako and Tsubasa are both potentially squeamish about snakes, they do not care about swords, and they are planning to poison Kurara in the future 💀
