Interestingly, I personally can draw some parallels between my Hummus Bros experience and the Drama Triangle that we here at IU are so very fond of. I began my food journey in the 'Victim' space, feeling persecuted by the Bros for leaving out my vitally important falafel balls and one piece of pitta bread. I felt I had suffered a great injustice as there's no chance that one measly piece of pitta and some hummus would fill me up until dinner. 

However, once Jaimee and Eric very kindly rescued me from this predicament by offering some additional pitta, I soon realised that I had been entirely wrong about the power of hummus. Though it doesn't look particularly filling, those chickpeas pack a punch in terms of substance. 

The hummus was fresh and the salad light. When married with the unusually soft and doughy pitta bread, every mouthful had some lovely and subtle flavours working in harmony. Though the falafel balls would have added another dimension to my lunch, I for one definitely thought that it was still good value for money. And from what I saw of others struggling to finish their lunch because they were so full, I would say this was the general consensus. I would go back to Hummus Bros, but probably not until the summer when I crave fresh salad-type things. 

One last note about the delivery service we tried out. They actually arrived earlier than expected, so 5/5 for Deliveroo.

My next review is about Hummus Bros, a little place in Soho (and Holborn, St. Paul's, Exmouth Mkt) serving healthy, Levantine (fast)food.

As the name suggests, the place is famous of its hummus. It comes in a big bowl with a delicious topping and pitta bread. I had to exchange the pitta bread for gluten-free tortillas but I didn't mind, my chicken hummus topping was just as delicious as it was. I also ordered a portion of jalapenos..as I already said, I love spicy food. All this, with a can of Pepsi costs less than £10 and makes you full for hours. 

I wasn't really satisfied with the service tho, the staff looked careless, I always had to stand up and go to the counter even though there were only 5 customers in total at the place. I understand we're all humans but I work in hospitality too and I manage to show the best side of my personality at work.

All in all, great place, great food, even better price, completely coeliac friendly with gluten-free dishes listed on the menu.
