lore! keeping some secrets though. huh "cryptids and paranormal creatures have been disappearing for some unknown reason over the decades" so then that means that big foot or any other legends of cryptozoology have been gone from the public eye? why would they disappear? did someone hunt or capture them? if so they why? and it's interesting how thanks to superheros and villains the public is more skeptical about cryptids and ghosts and stuff. and that they just are so desensitized by superpowers that they just put them all into the same group since they're used to seeing weird stuff that they just assume they're also superpowered heroes and villains with weird gimmicks about them. huh i wonder if that's how some people would view say characters like ghostrider from marvel or deadman from DC. since i kinda get that a "spirit of vengence from hell and has demon fire powers who can stare into your soul and fry it while riding a flaming motorcycle" sounds pretty unbelievable even in a world with say a giant planet eater from space and mutants that can move metal citys and gravity; they'd probably just say he has heat/laser eyes and that the motorcycle is just a special effect vehicle like how heroes have hovercrafts or flightsuits. man that's interesting to think about from the "normal people" perspective. but that also makes it interesting since COME ON! there's like a god of thunder from literal asgard! and demons! you're telling me that you'll believe in freaking god and the devil but ghosts and cryptids is not something you'll believe as a possibility. . . it's sad how i can see that now given our current times.
