Saltah is a Yemeni stew traditionally made with beef and vegetables, but here we try our hand at a vegan version. Click for this unique recipe.
Turns out that I don’t like Hulbah, but I do like Saltah and Zhug (as long as it’s not made with cilantro - I subbed 2 bunches parsley and 1 bunch mint for the 3 bunches of cilantro). I think I didn’t like the hulbah because it turns out that I don’t like the taste of fenugreek? The saltah is good, and the best part is that it’s so lemony, but there’s something a little weird about the texture. I think it’s too labor intensive for me to make again, but it was interesting.
