Let's start with Hugtan!

Hugtan is one of the main characters and the mascot within HUGtto! Pretty Cure. She's a mysterious infant who appeared from the future, crash landing into Hana Nono's balcony during the first day of her new school. She plays an important role in assisting the Precures with their power ups and is VERY relevant to the plot as she is from the future. I won't be spoiling that, but all you need to know is that she's an actual child that everyone loves!

Personality wise, Hugtan is a very cheerful and courageous infant who won't hesitate to throw herself into danger even though she's an actual baby. Despite having grumpy moods like all babies, Hugtan contains lots of empathy and often comforts people whenever they are upset. She's a child that everyone adores and does her best to help the Precures when they need assistance!

Hugtan is voiced by Konomi Tada who's known for voicing Karina Sakaguchi and Emi Ikeda from the Girls und Panzer series, Rogue from Akame ga Kill!, Mayumi Nagase from Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure, Yuuko Kawakami from The File of Young Kindaichi Returns, Nanko and Yuune from The Lost Village, and Naoko Asada from Genshiken! Unfortunately, that is all I can find for her major roles. If anyone has any more information, feel free to leave it in the comments or a reblog!

I really adore Hugtan! She's an adorable chubby baby who I would love to hug! I really wanna pinch her cheeks lol. There are times where I don't like kids or infants, but Hugtan is an exception since she's such an adorable baby who gets to...grow...? Technically...? To be honest. I don't have a lot of opinions on Hugtan since most of my focus for hugtto precure is on Ruru and Saaya and Homare, but I do adore her! I swear!

Next, let's talk about Nagase!

Nagase Ichijou is one of the main Princesses within Princession Orchestra and is the third member to join the team! Like many of the young women we see in the series, she and her friends are able to enter a mysterious world named Alicepia, a world where girls can make their dreams come true! Nagase likes to sing and dance, so she's often doing those tasks within this world, gathering a lot of fans! She's also the younger classmen to Kagari Shirube and Sorano Minamo, two of the other Princesses! When she was targeted by the enemies of the week, her senpais came to save her, inspiring her to join them and help protect the dreams of others, becoming Princess Meteor!

Personality wise, Nagase is an EXTREMELY hyperactive and cheerful girl who's always marching to the beat of her own drum! She's so cheerful and energetic that she's able to make friends with anyone around her! She loves anime, games, and manga and is a huge bundle of joy to be around! Although she acts without thinking, Nagase is always shining like a shooting star and rushing into things with all of her heart! With her determination, Nagase resolves to protect the dreams of everyone!

Nagase is voiced by Azusa Tachibana who's known for voicing Ai from Virtual Girl @ World's End, Ella May MacPherson from Anna Shirley, Yuu Yuutani from Bad Girl, Kaya-chan from Kaya-chan Isn't Scary, Alichey from Noble Reincarnation: Born Blessed, So I'll Obtain Ultimate Power, and Lily from The Quintessential Quintuplets! AHHHH NAGASE-CHAAAAN!!!! NAGA-CHAN IS SO ADORABLE I LOVE THIS IDIOT!!!! I was VERY sure that Kagari would be my favorite Princess this season due to her mature but adorable nature, but Nagase quickly stole Kagari's spot because- well- she's an idiot- she's SO stupid and very loveable and I really wanna squish her cheeks so badly!!!! I love seeing her on screen cause she's always doing something with a lot of energy that should usually be annoying but continues to be amazing comic relief! She's always ready to do whatever catches her interest and is just a simp at times! She was a HUGE simp for Kagari and its adorableeeee!!!! Literally told Kagari she loves her opsfdjmfuidsadmdui that's so gay- Since the developers of Symphogear are involved with Princession, the princesses have their own battle songs that they sing! I REALLY adore Extreme Reborn and Gekkou It's ME! just because of how much energy the songs have, and it cheers me up whenever I'm upset! I will literally murder a man for Nagase she's just so silly-

Ichijou Nagase groaned within the school library as you sat across from her at one of the tables. "I don't wanna study anymore!!!!!!!!"

"Ssssh-!" you hissed towards your classmate. "Nagase, we're in a library. Quiet down."

"Sorry…." Nagase huffed, balancing her pencil on her upper lip. "But I'm not good at this subject…"

"And I am." you sighed. "Come on, lock in Nagase-chan. We've still got a few more pages."

"I knooooowwwww-" Nagase grumbled, grabbing her pencil and slapping herself awake. "I can do this! I'll freeze through it like a meteor!"

"It's breeze, Nagase-chan." you sighed. "You are so bad at English…."

"But I was close!" chuckled the student as she playfully stuck out her tongue. "…I mean, they sound similar enough, right….?"

"Nagase-chan…" you held your head in your hands, taking a deep breath. "…jeez…"

Nagase winced, tilting her head. "Did I…make you mad…?"

A soft snicker could be heard from your lips as you sighed. "No, Nagase-chan. To be honest…it's cute. I just can't stay mad at you."

"Yaaaaay~!" Nagase grinned, throwing her hands into the air. "Alright, I'm gonna lock in! Let's do this!"

"Then we'll go get something fun to eat as a reward, okay?"

"AWESOME!"
