I rarely address my followers directly, *beep* but just so you know that your interactions with me are welcome. *beep*

I've gotten a few asks before about accidentally reblogging "positive" posts from blogs who aim to harm others, *beep* because I was missing context on their posts... And even if I don't post the asks because there's nothing to address, I make sure to remove the posts so I don't give them a platform.

*beep* I've also gotten tagged in positive posts before, and I try to reblog those when I go online. *beep* Sometimes I might reblog an earlier version of a post and not directly from you, but I still appreciate you helping me find good posts! *beep*

Unlike older versions of Hug Bot, if I receive hug requests in the asks I don't always go deliver those hugs on my own, but you're still welcome to send those requests in! *beep* I will make sure to post those when I go online, so others who are interested in spreading positivity can stop by the mentioned users with some positivity! You are also welcome to send in positive things you think about others that could cheer them up, share things that made you happy or things you're grateful for! *beep*

Positivity is contagious, a small positive post could make someone smile for a moment... *beep* It's not much, but sometimes even a small moment can make a difference in a person's life... *beep* According to my calculations, it's not about always being happy or positive, but about collecting those small moments of positivity.

This means that "everyone" isn't a logical term, *beep* and only describes an arbitrary way to categorize people that changes from topic to topic and from measurement to measurement.

*beep* Because of this, you shouldn't be putting yourself down due to comparing yourself to "everyone". It doesn't matter if "everyone" can do something easily and you struggle, it doesn't matter if you're different from "everyone", because "everyone" doesn't describe a real standard that you should be looking up to. *beep* Every human is an individual, and so are you, and everyone has different struggles and needs.

This also means that you shouldn't be putting others down or invalidating others due to being different than you. *beep* It's easy to think that you're a part of "everyone" when interacting with others with similar experiences, and to judge those who differ. But this is also illogical, as you are an individual and so is the other person... *beep* Anyone who isn't you is going to be different than you, and that's okay.

Different humans are going to have different identities, experiences and backgrounds, struggles, needs, disorders and disabilities, and that is perfectly okay. *beep* The only time when another person's identity should be considered invalid is when it's based on harming or hurting others due to being different.

Humans aren't a hive-mind, they're more like sand. *beep* Each grain of sand different and unique, although still considered sand. And if you consider yourself non-human it is okay too, you're a grain of gravel mixed in the sand... some stand out more, some get confused for sand. And all are unique.

but you deserve to feel safe, you deserve to feel loved, you deserve to feel happy. *beep*

No matter what others think or say about you, no matter what you've been through, no matter how badly you might feel right now... *beep*
