I woke up this morning sore and a little hungover. My first thought was...if only I had a husband.

A husband would have helped me move all the furniture for the movie night outside. He would have helped tend the fire and directed friends where to get bug spray. A husband would have helped keep glasses filled (including mine.) A husband would have held my hand through the movie and enjoyed the great outdoors with me. A husband would have helped pack everything away in the night. He would even remind me to drink a glass of water and take two aspirin before I went to bed. A husband would have cuddled me through the night. He would have made pancakes this morning. He would have helped sort everything out this morning while we listen to the baseball game.

I really miss having a husband on weekends like this.
