#httyd kin

Every time I watch HTTYD 2, I always notice Valka's lines:

"— This wasn't a vicious beast, but an intelligent, gentle creature, whose soul reflected my own."

"— With his icy breath, this graceful giant built our nest."

"— We all live under his care and his command."

"— This is what it is to be a dragon, Hiccup."

She calls herself a dragon and includes herself in anything related to the dragons of the nest; furthermore, I've noticed that sometimes she acts like one(unfortunately, I couldn't bring the specific scenes to show). In Hiccup's case, I feel that what he has with dragons is simply a connection, but in Valka's case, I can't help but see her as a dragon.

At the end of the day, that is just how I see things. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any canon alterhuman representation yet.

Usually whenever I'm looking for therianthropic media I get the same suggestions "Oh, go watch Wolfwalkers" "Oh, go read Warrior Cats" and while I understand the appeal of animal based media and personally enjoy it, watching the httyd movies does give me species euphoria, it's not exactly what I'm looking for

Wolf (2021) is much closer to what I would consider therian media, it never says anything about alterhumanity directly, but... come on, unfortunately I really did not enjoy it

Basically, I want media that's actually about therianthropy, not media that is just about animals or people magically turning into animals, I want something I can relate to

unfortunately it burnt recently in a house fire (everyone in my family is safe dw, no one was home when it happened)

Also finally settled on what I think I look like

Basic Rise of Berk deathgripper but with yellow lines on the edges of the interior parts of the stinger sheath. Not visible when closed. By lines on the edges, I mean something similar to how the back spines are lined with red.
