Is it f****** sad that when I saw a post reading "The Harry Potter ICE! attraction we first uncovered back in June is officially happening. I really hate it when posts about boycotting Harry Potter minimize how important Harry Potter and the Harry Potter fandom has been to some people. A lot of people really identified with the Harry Potter characters. They dreamed of escaping to the magical world. The Harry Potter fandom was where a lot of people first found acceptance, their first true friends, a community that understood them. Harry Potter was used as the inspiration for incredible works of both art and fiction, with so many amazing, inspiring, touching transformative works having been made.
