The west part of Diagon Alley is arguably the most popular, especially among the youngest students. Here you can buy your very first wand from Ollivanders, purchase the most elegant quill from Scribbulus, pick up all of the schoolbooks at Flourish & Blotts, get the necessary magical instruments at Wiseacre's, and take an ice cream break at Florean Fortescue's. Try to keep them out of Knockturn Alley, though.

Azkaban

Azkaban is an unplottable fortress on an island in the middle of the North Sea. It was built in the 15th century, and has been used as a detention facility since 1718. A lot of prisoners die of despair here, but don't worry – we've established a graveyard for them! This is the perfect environment for dementors to work their way up in the Dementor career (or, y'know, the "Reaper" career).
