This is chair week on my insta, where I’ll show you chairs I designed or chose to help create the mood of a room! This room for a family was inspired by “Little House on the Prairie” each piece was assigned a character from the TV show. In this case the white chairs I redesigned were Nellie Olsen. A bit uptight and rigid, everything perfectly pulled together, nothing out of place. The toggles down the back reinforce this feeling of everything in its place. The chairs started out life in a pale green velvet with exposed legs, by adding the back detail and skirting with trim and peek-a-boo lining the entire feeling of the chairs changed.
