It's no lie that there isn't much to do on Tinian, but what do we all desire in this life? Beauty all around, peace and tranquility, happiness, contentment. All of that is here. It's all about perspective. Glad I decided to spend an entire day and night here. Much time for reflection, prayer, and journaling. ๐ landed, checked into Fleming Hotel, then lunch at the Mariรฅnas-famous @jccafetinian ๐ ๐๐ผ visited the sacred #HouseofTaga where my ancestors once roamed ๐ฃ drove (and got lost along the way) to the northern tip of the island to see the site where the first Hiroshima atomic bomb was loaded and launched ๐ฟ stumbled upon some beachside graves at the site where a chapel once stood, honoring a Tinian family who died in 1974 ๐ stopped at Tinian's Blow Hole #tinianblowhole ๐๏ธ Taga Beach #tagabeach โ๏ธ late breakfast and coffee at Tinian's only cafe @k_towncoffee (soooo good) โช๏ธ stopped at San Jose Church to pray, but there was a funeral happening Si yu'os Ma'รฅse for a great time, Tinian!
