Reposted • @itsahouselovestory I am inspired by this cozy family room! Ahhh… I love the Autumn season and I am hoping to embrace it. I can hardly even believe where the time has gone. It is interesting for me to think about approaching October as time has almost completely stopped for me since the loss of my beautiful son in March. I traveled in the summer and I know I appreciated the many experiences I had, however, it is all so vague to me. My ever present thoughts are always of my son. It is so all encompassing, so intense that I live it in every moment. It is so big, so current. My heart and mind still feel like I am back there to when I first felt the impact of the news. How could my generous, fun, vibrant, kind, full of love son be here one day and gone the next? IIt is as if time stopped — how can the world go on and so fast? How can it be Fall? I am starting to feel that I am growing and progressing in my process. I have felt God’s Divine comfort and Love. I have experienced beautiful things. I have great faith. It is just that sudden loss brings a mourning that is slow to process and deeply wounding. I will never be the same. It takes time to build again, to center oneself again, to build a different but still beautiful life around the experience of great loss.
