An interesting, if gruesome, find from my work garden. This housefly on our milkweed is infected with a fungus called Entomophthora muscae. The fungus grows into the fly's brain, forcing it to crawl up high and spread its legs and wings, a position which allows the fungus’ spores to spread as far as possible.
