#house system

Everytime I'm on tiktok I see videos with people arguing which house system is better: whole sign or placidus. And I wanted to join in because I recently discovered something about me regarding that matter. See, I never truly resonated with my placidus chart, it was maybe like 70% correct, but the other 30% would make me question astrology.To add, with my placidus chart it always seemed like it was stuck in the past, like my whole personality was just my childhood (which felt so limiting). It was different with whole sign where I feel completely understood.

But recently I realised that I don't resonate fully with my placidus is because it does represent me but when i was a kid. And it makes sense as when I was a kid I was shy and kind of a perfectionist, the way I wanted to be loved (love language), everything is perfectly explained in this chart(even my parents, sisters etc). However, I grew up and in 7th grade I decieded I don't really like my personality (true story I'm truly not lying) and I changed (now embody the whole sign).

Does anyone have an idea what this means? I have lost hours searching for the true meaning of the following issue:

And i also don’t know which one fits me more since my stellium switches from 3rd house to 2nd in both equal and Placidus. (Both houses to do with communication on some base…) and my sun in jyeshta moves from 2nd house to 1st house. And my venus goes from 1st house to 12th house (mind you venus would be in the 1st house WITH a libra ascendant and moon, i cannot believe i am that Venusian.) I know this is a somewhat childish outlook but i’m just stuck, someone help me out here

hey!! Thankyou so much :) 💕 personally I select whole signs; in Vedic astrology whole signs is the default & only house system.

Even when I dabble in Tropical astrology, I tend to use whole signs, it just seems to offer the best results from what I've noticed, but sometimes I check placidus too just to take note of anything that changes and make a mental note of it; kinda 'test' it.

I also just love that whole signs is very straight forward- if I want to for example figure out what someone's 10th house is in my head, it's simply a matter of counting the signs, I don't need to worry about intercepted houses or any of that jazz. It's always good to stay open minded, but yeah I've honestly just seen whole signs work the best.
