#house layout

After a week straight of complete insanity, it is done. Looked through movie shots, the museum, book mentions and assumptions. My hope is that this we’ll be useful to the whole fandom, especially if you write or draw. I think the floor plan can be applicable across all versions as well, doesn’t go against the book, isn’t clear in the musical (to my understanding anyway). It looks big because I’m detailed but the house is actually pretty small. More notes under the cut;

I HATE the brothers’ house.

It makes no sense why the basement isn’t actually underneath the house?

As far as we know the second floor is floating, unless the lobby is under it but there’s no doors to get there.

If the lobby really is under the second floor, where is the balcony connected to?

There’s fireplaces with NO CHIMNEYS.

AND SOME DOORS DON’T EVEN LINE UP.

And then imagine actually LIVING THERE??? Tons of windows are broken, there’s mold everywhere, and it’s probably infested with bugs.

Gaster's house map is a bit of a mess since its two stories and I wanted to show what it looks like from the side...

Sans and Papyrus have to share a bed. Maybe that's me projecting from when I had to share a bed with my sibling as a kid. You'll never know!

I really enjoy interior design and all that, so this was very fun. There was also an extra challenge of piecing together the parts of the houses that I've already put in the comic.
