Imagine flustering Alastor with just one kiss. Hey brotado look what I made!
— “Oh! And the Day I’ve had Y/N. Topsy turns—I tell you. I’ve been near and far trying to fulfill Rosie’s list of demands! That woman will never leave me alone.”
The night grew older with every passing minute. And you supposed this was the reason Alastor had been missing all day.
— “She doesn’t even have my soul anymore! So why do I listen to her? I understand nothing of it.”
— “Maybe you do like her.”
— “Preposterous. I do not.”
You relax your body, leaning against the back of the sofa turned towards the fireplace, in order to face away from Alastor’s pacing body in the ornately decorated mass of the room behind you.
— “Mmm.. who knows?”
Alastor finally stops pacing to look over at you, stepping over with agitation in his movements.
— “I said I don’t.”
It was then you sighed, twisted your body back around, and reached over the backrest to take his hands in yours, before kissing them gently.
Alastor paused.
And stared.
— “… ..What was that?”
— “A kiss.”
— “Why?”
— “Because you’re having a bad day.”
He only stares down in disbelief, his face flushing deeply.
— “Oh.”
He pulls his hands away like they’d been burnt, before wiping them off on his pinstripe jacket.
— “Sap.”
You laugh quietly.
— “Yeah.”
