Anyway, my day job is a Phlebotomist (vampy) at a hospital, so I stab patients all day and when I work the evening shift which goes until 10 or 11, I like to talk with the night nurses on some of the floors, Usually the ICU or Intermed units, because they have the most STATS and Rapids.

And I’m on a first name basis with most of them, and friendly with a few of them because I’m a chatty cathy sometimes. And I try to do the scratch my back you scratch mine type deal and always try to make their job easier when it’s within my range to do so and keep up good communication. like a good little employee :)

and until 30 minutes ago I thought they were indifferent/annoyed by me and only being polite. but i got told by 4 of the nurses tonight that they REGULARLY talk about how much they appreciate me and even wish that I work more night shifts so that they can talk to me more and have a phlebotomist they know is really good!

AND ONE OF THE IS MY WORK CRUSH AND HE SAID THAT HE LIKES SEEING ME WHEN WE “WORK TOGETHER” AND TALKING WITH ME AHHHH

Sorry on my delayed “hospital stay how-to”, or really how it was, the good the the bad the ugly, and most importantly, what I learned and can pass on to you!

As you can see, back in the hospital… not for another surgery, thank goodness - was concerned I had another slip of my spine.
