Behold! The timeskip idea I had for Kami and Salad!
Basically, in the future, Kami and Salad start fighting for the salmonids together as a king salmonid unit! The lore for how these two decide to start fighting for the salmonids is still a work in progress but I can tell y'all how these two would work as a king salmonid unit!
When facing against Kami and Salad, the day turns into night and the stage gets foggy. As actual salmonids start filing into the stage, Salad can project the images of fake salmonids onto the stage to confuse inkfish participating in the salmon run using the hologram device attached to him. He can also project fake versions of teammates over salmonids to further confuse inkfish.
While Salad is projecting holograms onto the stage, Kami will use a variety of modified specials to attack inkfish from on top of Salad.
When the duo's health starts getting low, Salad will start charging up booyah bombs and Kami will jump down onto the stage and engage to main weapon to main weapon combat. When their health hits zero, they don't die but retreat before they can be taken out completely.
Finally getting around to making art of the Kami & Salad timeskip idea I had a while back.
