It was a rare day off for Newt. He was primarily a workaholic and actually enjoyed being busy with data and experiments and whatnot. But try as he might, the body could only go so hard and eventually, even he needed a break.

He'd gone to a bar that night. He could have stayed at home, but there were people in bars. And as much as he thought everyone was dumb compared to him (and that infuriated him sometimes), he inexplicably liked to be around them. He thrived off being around other people, even if he wasn't necessarily talking to him (although her certainly did his fair share of that anyway).

"So what's your deal?" he said to the person up at the bar next to him.
