Welp, Hoopkins just went from wishful thinking to prediction in my mind. I mean, I’m sure everyone knows, but it only just clicked for me:
Molly is a John mirror. Her being bi/lesbian (currently, like John, avoiding that side of her identity by only pursuing men) and ultimately marrying a tall dark haired detective is literally the most logical endgame to complete her mirror arc.
Especially when just such a detective was introduced for no apparent reason this season, strongly implying that they have plans for her in future episodes.
Yep, I’d bet on this one. I’m rather excited now! ☺️
