also people: How can they even think of giving him a new love interest, that would totally ruin and taint and spit on CS, because essentially that man IS Killian Jones.

Your last sentence is very important, nonnie, and I think that’s exactly what makes me open to any development the show has in store for this new Killian. Let’s say he was another version of our Killian Jones, he was an AU version of him like deckhand Killian - but when he and our Killian were brought together, that moment he became real. He was an AU version of our Killian, but now he’s come to life as himself, as his own character who is taking his fate in his own hands and who will have a new story of his own.

I understand what you mean, nonnie - I think that’s a problem for many, that they knew they would have o say goodbye to Emma, but weren’t prepared to have to say goodbye to Killian, too. But seeing it realistically, that was the only way to keep CS happy, both of them, together.

For me, the Killian Jones I fell in love with is still here, like he was for Emma when she made the connection with him to save his life. I found that part of “my” Killian in this new one. He’s still gentle, loving and doing the right thing in the end, and I’m happy to have CS’s happy ending/beginning guaranteed and still get to see this Killian’s journey unfold.

Shade appreciated and valid. The fact is, Jen left the show, and thanks very much but Colin shouldn’t have to be kicked to the curb because of it. They can’t write a show around a missing character, so I guess things will be different now. This Killian has warm fuzzy feelings about the woman who saved his life but they’ll never have the opportunity to develop into anything because A) she’s married and B) she’s not around anymore. Crazy talk, I know.          

Also Wish Hook is different person. Deckhand Hook is our Hook (just rewritten by the author to be coward, witch didn't really worked anyway).
