Back when Pawmi was first revealed, something in my mind felt that its shape felt... familiar.
Last one of the 3, Pawmi and Honoguma (a pokemon from Pokemon Gold beta)
did some more interpretations of beta pokemon designs!

(´ﾉ･ω･｀)ﾉ a couple unused, or leaked (Spaceworld 97/99) G/S Pokemon i sketched along with Celebi and Teddiursa~
Barunda, (a cute balloon Pokemon that didn’t make it into the game), and beta Celebi, and Celebi~
Honoguma (cut fire bear starter Pokemon), a newer design but yellowish, and then Teddiursa~
More early versions of Pokémon Gold and Silver were found! And with them came many more early/cut designs for both trainers and Pokémon!
My favorite of them has to be the early design for the main player character. He just looks a lot more cooler and slicker than he does in the final.
Judging from very early gameplay footage and screenshots, I always thought that he had a different design than what we got in the Spaceworld 97′ demo or the final game. And, I was right!
I don’t think nobody else had gotten to drawing him yet. So, I tried to draw him based on this sprite alone. I put Honoguma on top of his hat to fill in more space.
I drew some of the pokemon designs that didn't end up in the games.
