what if i revisited homm4 price of peace scenario? that's basically a (pretty ya fantasy typical premise if i think about it now lol maybe that's why kid me was obsessed) story about a girl emilia nighthaven (she reminds me of book!daenerys aka she too has a strong sense of justice and doesn't want to let her people down) who suddenly even for herself became a leader of her fellow refugees (i am not that knowledgeable in game's general lore but basically their old world/planet was destroyed by a war and they came to this new world/planet thru portals). after she succeeded in making a new home for herself and her people by creating a kingdom and becoming it's queen big bad appeared in a face of a powerful wizard magnus who also founded his kingdom earlier. he sends her a letter which basically says "marry me and hand me your lands peacefully or i will take them by force". emilia refuses such proposal thus power struggle between her and magnus begins. that's how she meets magnus's right hand, a genie solmyr and despite formally being enemies they took a liking to each other but since solmyr is bound to magnus will they have to fight. (i shipped them so hard before i knew what that word even is. i mean i still do 🤣 narrative treated them as showtime series designated queerbait couple it drove me crazy. there was a messy plotline with his clingy toxic ghost ex gf, in the end emilia SACRIFICED HER LIFE TO SAVE HIM barely surviving and NOTHING came out of it).
