My first year of high school was so hard for me. Not because the homework, school work or anything like that. But it was because My mom left. Randomly. I came home from school and she was suppose to take Colin and I out to hang out with a few other people but she never came home. I was worried, my dad was worried, and all that crap. Colin tried to be there for me since she wasn’t home for a month or two. She left me with my step father.  She didn’t event me know she was leaving and I felt like I was never going to see her again. After like a month I was at the mall with Colin buying shoes and waiting for emily and sam to get there. And I got a call... It was my mother letting me know she is fine and all that crap. She also told me she was seeing someone else and she will be moving out and that I could move in with her and her new Boyfriend or I could stay with my step dad and sibling. Of course I told her to FUCK OFF and that I will go and stay where ever I wanted and I wanted to go or stay anywhere that was far as fuck from her. 

Life went on and the school dance was coming. My mom wanted to take me to get a dress because she was been waiting her whole life to play dress with her daughter on her first year of high school. SO I said yes, I mean I missed her so of course I said yes. She was suppose to come get me at 3 so we could go to the mall, she was late of course, and not 30 min, not 1 hour, she didn't show till 6:30 which meant the mall was going to close at 9... it took us 30 mins to get there, and then I had to look for a dress? Lucky I found one just before the mall close, it wasn’t my favorite dress butI knew no one would have it but me so that made me happy, the next day was the dance so my mom said she would help me get ready so I could go with colin to the spot where our friends and I were suppose to get our homecoming pictures. SO the day of the dance she didn't show up. She forgot and I had to go to my older brothers house and beg is girlfriend to help me get ready and take me to Colins house, which she did. The whole time at homecoming I had a shit night. I was so had my mom didn’t show up. But after the homecoming dance my real father was going to pick me up so that was cool. I hardly saw him because he was a piece of shit too. Just like any dead beat father. 

Colin and I became so much closer together then the girls and I did. The girls and I were super close though don't get me wrong. I just think I was closer to Colin because I thought it was cool that I could chill with a boy that didn't wanna fuck me. 

I liked their backdrop, and they had a lot of balloons. At the beginning they had two singing performances. (I thought the guy in the glasses in the first one was really good) but they had technical difficulties with the sound system (which is really unfortunate) so the microphones would stop working at random intervals. This also caused the airband music to sound fuzzy at times. I thought it was a bit much that they had a 3RD singing performance in the middle though. The juniors gave them megaphones to help in the middle BUT THEY DIDN'T WORK (or the freshman didn't know how to use them? I can't figure out which).

I didn't like the voice actor for the freshman guy or the teacher. The junior character had a good role, the sophomores were portrayed as dumb, and the seniors weren't really given much lines.

They had like...(6?) airbands I think? 3 of them being REALLY LONG. I could tell they put a lot of effort to it, but I felt that they spread themselves too thin at times. Like at certain parts I noticed they started getting uncoordinated and some of the dancers looked nervous like they didn't know what they were doing.  The girl doing the traditional Chinese dance with the (lamp?) was really unique. The entire skit was really anti-climactic though. They inserted random, arbitrary jokes that weren't that funny and didn't really pertain to anything. Also they didn't have an ending airband or a chance for everyone in their class to come onto the stage and cheer.

I also forgot what was the point of them going back in time in the first place. And  the freshman giving the coach a pep-talk seemed kind of out of the place. It was their first time though, and I could tell they worked hard so good job!
