🧸 ⇢ what's the fastest way to become your mutual?

Honestly a great question. My methods of following people tend to be mass searches when I have a bee in my bonnet about getting content on my dash (just following top blogs in tags and unfollowing if I decide I don't like them) or following people I recognize as I stumble across them, either on my dash or in my notifications.

🦴 ⇢ is there a piece of media that inspires your writing? 

I can't think of anything specific! I definitely find myself influenced by a lot of media, be it fanfic, a book, or a movie, but it's usually in terms of getting ideas or things? The most specific influence I can recognize when it comes to the writing itself is past collaborations! I like to think I'm pretty adaptable as a writer, so I find myself picking up turns of phrase or approaches from people I have written with. But that might also just be something I'm hyperaware of due to the nature of collaboration!

As a kid, I definitely saw way too much of myself in Annabeth: blonde, book-smart, obnoxious, bossy, jealous, cares too much, etc. When I re-entered the fandom as an adult, the first few people I started talking to were really anti-Annabeth and percabeth? It was a weird time as far as finding my fandom niche and I have a lot of feelings about them.

For me, you'll never catch me reading a percabeth fic because it's percabeth, if that makes sense. I don't need to know how they fall in love or why they work; I have the books for that. But god, they're incredible. Their worlds are so wrapped up in one another it's a bit unhealthy and that's extremely sexy of them. I'm obsessed with their entire concept.

They're fun to play with as a couple because they're soft—best friends who trust each other so much and have seen each other at their best and their worst and have never stopped loving one another. But, on the other hand, they've literally fallen into hell for each other and would happily see the world burn if it made the other happy. They can be so, so extreme. This is only scraping the top, but like. It's endless.

They have the range.
