It's not often that the archer is at a loss for words. Usually, she's the one doing stuff crazy enough to leave people's jaws glued to the floor ; so it's not often that someone else beats her in the contest of 'what the hell did I just witness'?

"I want to ask if you're sure you trust me with something like this, but I'm a little more concerned about how you can just...create something like that? But hey-! Should come in handy in case I need to fight off something with modern technology! So thanks!" -sadly the biggest issue with her set of powers - meant to fight tradition and the divine rather than anything in the present day.

She doesn't know why she bothers feeling the slightest bit disappointed in this outcome. There's no logical conclusion she could have come to that should have ever told her that Reines would've had a change of heart -

The once sunken and defeated expression she wears as the coal spills out of the bag suddenly turns into a gasp and a bright smile as she spots something shinning within the pile of coals, like a bright star in the night!

"Aw! You do care after all! Even if it's just a tiny bit from the bottom of your tiny black heart!"

Cheesy as it sounds, that was the real gift here - though this blade also isn't a bad catch at all! Not the type she'd use in combat for obvious reasons....but still!

"Thanks master! You know, this really reminds me of the golden swords I used to plunder from burning down those Buddhist temples...used to love hanging them in my trophy room!"

He wouldn't dare ask for anything - not with the luxury this contract has given him. Not only was he lucky enough to have a master that actually cared for him, it was all within a reality where he didn't even have to fight. He's living in a more peaceful time than he had ever known back when he was alive.

Honestly, he would have denied the gift outright on that fact alone- if it hadn't been so terribly rude to do so.

The sheath is, at least, something he can tangibly understand putting to use. Had it been that gift alone, he'd have been able to accept with with all the due graces his father and his teachers had taught him. But this gift card - just looking at the price overwhelms him- just what is he expected to spend this much money on?

"I um..." a thought strikes him as he attempts to stammer out a response "Would you mind if I invited my sister, or is this supposed to be with you?"

"H-holy-! Are you serious?! For me?!" It's hard for Nobunaga to stop herself from practically jumping up and down excitement at the sight of an actual modern weapon she could hold - and she'd have no qualms about showing that, were it not a serious safety hazard when it came to firearms. So, she'll have to make do with bouncing at the back of her heels instead!

Eager hands gently pick up the Beretta, nearly trembling with joy. She's amazed at how naturally it seems it fit in her hands, how much humans had come with time to perfect what were once bulky rifles into this much smaller form.

"Good?! No, this is awesome! I've always wanted to have one of the new modern toys! Uh -" she takes a moment to address her poor choice of words, giving a wince after she's taken a second to look the sights "Well, you know what I mean. I'd probably be a pretty good shot with this, too! My abilities as an archer must carry over to this thing!"

Not that she was an expert marksman or anything - but good enough!

"Thanks a ton! Damn, I'll be sure to pick out something even cooler than this for you next year! I've got a reputation of equality to uphold, you know!"
