Another redraw! I promise I’ll do new characters as well, I really really felt like doing these🤗

And I’m not getting paid to do this, so I can do whatever the bloody hell I want 😌

Right! Hermione! This girl is such a MOOD! I love her in all the books, she’s bossy, she’s clever, she’s kind and she is an ACTIVIST! She’s unapologetically herself, even if it means letting herself be vulnerable🧡

And let’s be honest: why the hell would no one help her with her House Elves crusade?? I never understood that.

For her design, I went with BIG hair! I love that feature, it gives her such an interesting look, and it suits her. She’s like a mad scientist, always two steps ahead. I don’t think she is a neat person. I know in the films she looked like a typical neat and straight-laced person. But I’ve always viewed her as this chaotic whirlwind of a girl, running off to follow her brain to the library or else on a quest to help Harry discover something new about the Dark Arts.

That doesn’t mean she isn’t still a girl. She likes jewellery and makes her uniform her own, she does own more than three pairs of shoes and when the time came to dress up for the Yule Ball, she SERVED🦋😌

What is your favourite Hermione moment? Mine is when she trapped Rita Skeeter in a jam jar. That’s our girl!♥️

👑Ron Weasley👑

Just like my illustration of Harry, Ron was one of the first I drew in this series.. as I am improving I wanted to redo his design, because I knew I could do him better justice😌✨

I love Ron. He’s such a good friend and even though he has flaws (one of them being not quite in toch with his own or other’s emotions…) he knows what’s right and wrong, and he takes care of his friends. He deserves a little more recognition!⭐️

What is your favourite Ron moment? Mine is when he and Harry save Draco’s life in DH and then punches him in the face because they had to do it twice😂

🦅⚡️The Ravenclaw Quidditch Team⚡️🦅

Happy September 1st everyone! We’re going back to Hogwarts!! I’m so excited for the fall, I’ve got some great projects coming up :)

I want to draw all the Quidditch teams, because I want to draw all the uniforms in the house colours, so sue me :)

I found the names of all the Ravenclaw players through a little digging and invented their descriptions myself. With Ravenclaw, we only know Cho and Roger Davies, and Roger was never even described, other than he’s handsome. That makes it more fun for me, because I can use my imagination ✨🤗

Fleur Yule Ball

Dress designs for Fleur Delacour at the Yule Ball ❄️✨ This was a fun one for me. The only description I found for Fleur's look at the Yule Ball was: dress robes of silver-gray. As usual, I took some liberties with it, but I loved trying these looks for Fleur. We all see her as this elegant, fashionable girl who could bring men down with just a wink and a flip of her silvery blonde hair. That's fun for me, an artist, to play with. I like Fleur's character. She's pretty unapologetically herself and knows she's beautiful. She also knows people mostly pay her attention, simply because of that fact and chooses not to bother being nice to every person coming up to her. Who knows what they want? I think she deserves a little more credit for getting through the tough Triwizard Tournament and the horrors she's experienced there. Cedric was her friend, too... Despite all the terrors of the war and the Tournament, I like that she fell in love with Bill and that they were so happy together. I love how she stood up to Molly and won her over because of how much she loved Bill. This is a beautiful girl, inside and out :) I like these dress designs. Personally, I like them all a LOT, but if I had to choose one, I think I'd go with... 2 or 3. The simplicity feels like Fleur. She doesn't need a lot of fluff to prove she's a beauty.

⚡️Harry Potter⚡️

On August 2nd 2023 I posted the character lineup for Harry, our main character, most underrated in his own series... I started with a sketch for Tonks, then did a version of Hermione, Ron and Harry and it just changed my life :) I'm so grateful for each of you and I can't wait to make so much more art with you guys! 🥹💛 Now, to celebrate that one-year (!!!) anniversary, I redrew Harry. I got to experiment a lot the past year with this series and I wanted to use some of my newfound experience for Harry, Merlin knows he deserves a little love. He is so underappreciated in his own series. He's the main character, yet we all love the side characters. It's nothing bad, but we shouldn't be so hard on our hero. This is a kid with a hero complex. He feels it is his responsibility to fix things and save his friends, because his entire childhood, he has never had anyone to rely on. The adults in his life did not help him or fix things for him, or make him feel taken care of. Harry had to take care of himself. So, yes, he always thinks it is his job to solve problems or save people. He never had anyone to show him there was another way, which is pretty sad, actually.

I liked playing around with this sketch, because there are many versions of Harry... There is the Harry at Hogwarts, who is this celebrity, but not really in a good way. Everyone always gossips about him and they love him one moment, only to despise him the next. No wonder the boy hates being famous. There is also Harry during the summer when he stays with the Dursleys and gets mistreated. He wears Dudley's hand-me-downs and has to make them work. He doesn't have any friends there and he feels abandoned by the magical world. The neighbours all think he's a criminal and his aunt and uncle started that rumour. How sick is that?! We overlook Harry's abuse quite a bit in the books... But it explains a lot of Harry's character. His awkward social skills and rebellious spirit, his snarkiness and longing for family. Finally, we have Harry the teenager. The normal kid he wishes to be all the time. The one who loves Quidditch, eating candy and playing games with his friends. Who just wants to enjoy himself. Can you imagine how it must have felt when Harry found out he was good at Quidditch? A boy who never once in his life got praised for something finds out he has a natural talent for a sport and people want him to play with them. It must have felt amazing! I like Harry a lot. He's a great protagonist and makes the books great. Yes, the side characters are all colourful and wonderful, but Harry carries the show on his back. I applauded him for it ⚡️

The Hogwarts Uniform (my version)

✨💀Draco Malfoy💀✨

It was time for the next phase. It took me a week to try and figure out what I wanted Draco to look like. I have seen fan art of him for years and I always think, and don’t shoot me for saying it, it’s not really Draco… 🫣

This is someone who grew up being incredibly spoiled and entitled, who thinks the world should revolve around him and is appalled when it doesn’t. I truly believe he is capable of redemption after the second wizarding war, but before that he is not a good person. I grew up in a city with a big university where a lot of stuck up rich boys go to college and I wanted Draco to resemble them a little. With their aristocratic haircuts and the whole ‘sticking your nose up in the air because you’re above all these peasants’ attitude.

So, here is my version of Draco Malfoy; mommy’s boy with daddy issues, but he does look good in his tailored clothes :) And I can totally see him turned into a ferret with his pointed face.

I also read a post a while ago that mentioned Draco is actually very good at school and has a flair for drama and creativity, which I totally agree with. All his iconic moments in the books just scream drama queen! I mean, he wrote a song for the entire Slytherin house to sing and he acted out Harry’s fainting fits for his friends... He could have a career in the arts, for all we know.
