If I had a nickel for every time I went into battle against a large, generally respected yarn company because they were fucking idiots about how they handled their customers, I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot. But it's weird that it's happened twice.
Sometimes, I wonder, if my job is the reason I become so obsessed with needing to make tangible things. So much of my job involves spreadsheets and PDFs that sometimes I don’t really feel like I’ve done much of anything at the end of the day. Knitting helps me feel like I’m making progress in something because I can see there are more pattern repeats than there were last week.
I am really loving the color combo I selected for this sweater. I’m using two colors of hobbii winter glow that just have such a nice contrast. Cannot wait to be able to wear this. Sleeves are always the hard part for me. Maybe my next project should be a sweater vest.
Pattern: Seascape by Biscotte Yarns
This yarn has followed me since February and I still haven't finished the sweater I bought it for. Well, maybe I shouldn't have chosen an annoying pattern. My bad. But I'm still in love with the colours.
