Homestuck Live Reread: Hivebent and the memos...

Reached /00467, on the 3rd (4th?) memo...Its getting rough. The memos are interesting because they present one of the first real multi-person conversational tools in Homestuck. It may actually be the first time we see more than one person in a pesterlog/conversation (I think).
Theoretically, its a very fun way to show where characters are mentally in different areas of time, give sneak glimpses into the future (in the way the beta kids were presenting literal pages forward), and discuss one-off encounters.
But brother, are they a slog. Where Hivebent is tight and snappy in its plot and how characters are revealed, the memos are a literal weighted drag on the storyline. It was definitely the weakest part of Hivebent so far.

Beforan Kanaya being a gardener made me think about Laszlo Cravensworth.
